For us as coaches and mentors to effectively partner with and support the managers and leaders, and their teams, we must be up to date and at our best at all times. The first step is working on ourselves as coaches and mentors from a self-development point of view.

GUEST: We are in conversation with Ms Ndumi Hadebe, Boundaries & Self-Leadership Coach, and Author of the book, Handle Black Tax Like a Pro - Setting Boundaries, Improving Relationships and Achieving Freedom, published by Penguin SA. Ndumi is a self-leadership coach, facilitator, author and Managing Director of Kwande Global. She is a versatile life coach who advocates for prioritisation of Emotional Intelligence (EQ) - as a means to enhance one’s leadership capacity. She helps managers work through the “stuff” standing between them and the version of themselves that is confident and making efficient decisions fully aligned with the goals of the organization. With two decades of professional experience, Ndumi brings with her expertise and learnings from various sectors - marketing and communications, human capital and capacity development - in diverse roles such as sales, account relationship management and independent consultant. Her insights and interventions are supported by a BCom Degree in Marketing, a Certificate in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) for Coaching and a life-long commitment to continual learning as much as possible about personal development dynamics.
