This is the new series by COMETSA Global Online Channels(COMETSA Radio Worldwide – CRW, COMETSA Television Network – CTN, COMETSA Podcasting Network – CPN, and INSIGHTS Online Podcast – IOP), taking place on the second Tuesday of every month, at 19h00 – 21h00 (CAT; SAST), effective from the 14th of January 2025.
About this event
The objectives of this CPD Edition No.1 of 2025, Theme 7.1.Business Etiquette (WEC) CPD Series - The LEKGOTLA Way! are to
- define etiquette and providing example of how it can be of value to a company or organisation,
- understand the guidelines on how to make effective introductions,
- identify the 3 C's of good impression,
- understand how to use a business card effectively,
- identify and practice at least one way to remember names,
- identify the 3 steps in giving a handshake,
- enumerate the four levels of conversation and provide an example for each,
- understand the meaning of colours in dressing for success,
- differentiate among the dressy casual, semi-formal, formal and black tie dress code.
